Hatha Yoga
This class  offers an equal balance of physical exercise, breathing techniques and relaxation.  The student learns varied asana’s which facilitate clarity and calmness while developing strength and flexability.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This class is strong, dynamic and fun. It will remind you of the deep joy yoga practice can bring to your day.

Asthanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Asthanga yoga is a wonderful dynamic series of postures which combine the benefits of a Workout and Mindfulness! Ashtanga vinyasa classes are adapted from the primary series of Sri Pattabhi Jois, they are flowing and physically quite intense classes but adaptations are made to accommodate beginners and all body types

Yin & Restorative Yin Yoga
uses long, passive holds to work on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body – the tendons, ligaments and cartilage – which are difficult to energize and open. This deep, passive practice increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips and is very rehabilitative for the joints and muscles. Psychologically, it connects you to your intuitive and creative self. Restore balance & complement to your active practice, sports or other exercise, and yang-dominant lifestyle. Restorative yoga teaches the body to surrender allowing for soft tissue injuries to heal, muscles to release, minds to quiet and deepen physical openings. Poses are taught using props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets. The body is completely supported in each pose, hip openers, gentle backbends, shoulder openers, and side stretches. The practice is passive and relaxing. Great for all ages, first time students. Teach your body when to be active and when to relax to increase performance, reduce stress and heal. This class is appropriate for men and women of all ages, fitness and flexibility, open to everyone.

Gentle Yoga 

Gentle Yoga is a mindful, therapeutic & accessible practice that aims to bring the body through it’s full range of motion. Gentle Yoga provides a well-rounded approach so that all muscles & joints move with comfort & ease. We will work with yoga therapy sequences exploring breath, yin or restorative yoga practices to calm the nervous system & create conditions to best support health & wellbeing. Through the use of gentle therapeutic movement, through mindfulness, we explore of how we move the body, how we breathe & how these factors affect your overall being. This benefits a release of tension, mobilises joints, creating freer movement patterns to move in the direction of optimum state of physical health whether performing simple tasks of daily living or balancing an active life. Gentle & Therapeutic Yoga benefits include increasing circulation to injured areas, release muscles & joints, improves posture & coordination, helps to lower blood pressure through relaxation techniques, reduces stress & calms the nervous system.

Yogilates Combining Yoga & Pilates,
Focusing on strengthening the core, strong abdominals while eliciting the flexibility of yoga.  Yogilates is also a great option for people who enjoy both yoga & pilates but don’t have the time to take both classes.
The fusion combination emphases proper breathing, strengthening & stretching of tight area’s within the body.
The combination benefits of yoga & Pilates core strengthening targeting from “inside out” to flatten the belly, obliques (side waist line) & back muscles. Not only creating muscle but freedom of movement. The “Core” area is working from shoulders to hips – front body & a healthy back. With 80% of population having non specific back pain during their life, a strong & healthy back is vital.Learning to breathe well while practicing the sequences connects the body holistically so you feel fitter & healthier.

Kids Story Yoga
A fun yoga class for children where yoga is taught through story.
The aim of this yoga course is to teach relaxation techniques, self-centering techniques, develop flexibility and strength, and to have fun while doing yoga.
The format of each class is to gather (where we practice breathing exercises for centering ourselves), warm-ups, listen to a childrens’ story, act out the story through yoga poses, time for songs or a game or reflection time through words or pictures, and finally closing(breathing, meditation or deep rest/relaxation).

Pre – Natal Yoga
Pregnancy can be a wonderful time in a woman’s life but can also create a lot of challenges. Pre-natal yoga is a great tool to help you to connect with your unborn baby & nurture yourself throughout these changes. The Yoga class can help you feel fitter, comfortable & relaxed during pregnancy.  This class focuses on breathing & safe sequences which can help ease labor & delivery.  Yoga can also help you improve sleep, reduce stress, & bond with other pregnant women as you prepare for childbirth.

Mindfulness Meditation with Chi-Kung warm up

Michelle combines Infinite Chi-Kung – a short, gentle
warm-up that releases tension from the body & restores
your energy levels – with Mindfulness Meditation, including
her own brand of mini meditations inspired by nature. She
calls the combined practice “Chi-laxation” and its
benefits include reducing stress and anxiety, lowering blood
pressure, it can relieve headaches & insomnia, improve
concentration & motivation, it restores physical and
psychological balance & relaxes the whole nervous system
– and it’s FUN! Join her on Sunday evenings for some “kindfulness” to yourself and
others as you unwind the body and mind and find some
“hush” before the busy week of “rush”
starts again! No experience necessary, pls wear comfy, warm
clothing and bring a blanket.

is a system of mind-body exercise which improves core strength, flexibility and agility. It builds strength without bulk and creates a sleek, toned body.
All pilates exercises focus on working from the core, and it has been shown to be effective in improving posture, alleviating back pain and other chronic conditions. Pilates is highly recommended as a form of post-natal strenghening for the transverse-abdominals and pelvic floor muscles.
